Announcement: Ad voting, gathering ideas
🕑 Added 2025-05-03 11:09:11 +0000 UTCHey guys, I know that I usually do the rotation for POV voting about once a month, and I finished everything about the Rattata interlude so now it would technically be Harry Evans' turn.
But, I've recently decided to maybe put out a few ads for Video Game Cultivator on RoyalRoad, so I was thinking that if I create three possible versions, we could instead vote on which ad banner is the best.
Also, it would be pretty cool to get some ideas in the comments if you have any.
I was thinking so far of three different approaches.
1: More standard cultivation webnovel image: Jin with a hooded face holding an Illusion Room standing in front of a mountain with a sect on top of it. The words "When you become a cultivator, skibidi Ohio something something."
2: Comic style: Panel 1: Wake up, realise you don't work on modern earth anymore. Panel 2: Go back to sleep. Panel 3: Wake up, realise that in the cultivation world failure is punished by death, not by getting decomissioned.
3: Idk yet.
Anyway, just trying to keep you updated.
I'll come up with three options sometime this month and then we'll vote, ok?

I think you need to do an emotional whiplash. You gotta do the comic panel idea, but like this. The first comic panel has to be that like beautiful rendition, hooded cultivator, holding an illusion cube, looking at at the insurmountable sect filled with corruption that he has to overcome. And then then the next panel, black and white line drawings of a stick man, Jin, exhausted, and depressed working in his house. There is an artists on YouTube called Nirami who makes really funny little mini versions of herself. I’m picturing that as Jin. Also, I can’t remember if that’s actually the main character’s name I’ve been reading too many stories lately.
