The Katzen Klavier

Now that we're 10 pages already into the comic I think it's time to start talking a bit more about the lore.This is the facade of Raph's nightclub of choice the one and only "Katzen Klavier" this means "cat piano". the cat piano was an infamous instrument which consisted on a huge organ-like gadget containing one caged cat for each key on the keyboard and each key would pull a nail piercing a cat's tail forcing a note from the poor creature.Part of the inspiration was "The cat piano" a short animated film...

You see... at first I wasn&#39;t planning on designing more characters for the project I just needed a spot to be filled by someone as Raph&#39;s friend, little did I know I was going to fall in love for this guy and ended up finishing the design and doing a Ref sheetHe&#39;s called Jack he earned the nickname &#34;Jackpot&#34; for how lucky he is when it comes to getting the &#34;big prices&#34;I&#39;m looking forward to develop him a lot more in the comic, maybe get him some action too(?) we&#39;ll see

L&L page 1 sketch

First idea of what this page was gonna look like, very loose sketching just to get the idea on the paper, the first two pages were created on Photoshop before i moved to Clip Studio then the process changed a little bit, I have to say, working on PS is not really that intuitive and I didn&#39;t feel that comfortable doing comic pages but it got the work done.
