Some thoughts on edges (voiced)
Hey everyone, I wanted to share some thoughts on edges in paintings. English isn't my first language, so I hope what I'm saying makes sense. But I think understanding how hard and soft edges work can be really helpful for artists. I made this video where I analyze some master paintings as well as my own works to show you how they use edges effectively. I hope you find it useful.

I ve been trying out this brush currently, used in this painting, try it out if you want. I like brushes that is easy to layer colors and create hue variations by hatching, and it entertains my eye while i'm painting, which i think is actually pretty important in my process, i often overlook that part.
Example artists to look at

Painting Process
One effective way to study color is to closely examine the works of Impressionist artists, not just the most famous ones like Monet or Sorolla, but a wider variety of them. While their styles may differ, they are all highly tuned in with color, which can be incredibly useful for us who want to improve with color. Hey, these are sketches I made based on my imagination. They're inspired by the things I notice during my walks. It's fascinating how each house seems to have its own character. Going out and observing really improves my visual memory and understanding of lighting. For the 3rd image, I experimented by painting without any of my go-to colors. Using unfamiliar shades forces me to focus on color relationships instead of just relying on specific colors from the color wheel. It's a great way to shake things up and think differently.
