A hardworking scientist takes an evening to unwind with the assistance of one of her side projects.Caught myself before going too crazy with the detail on this one, but it's definitely a candidate for taking further sometime down the line.

Mandatory Cuddles: Deep Tissue Massage

The thick muscles in an otter's tail have a tendency to accumulate a lot of tension, but it's not an easy spot to reach on one's own. It's also not something that comes up a whole lot; lifting your tail and demanding attention gets you a lot of funny looks in polite society.Still, if you happen to be beneath an otter's tail for unrelated reasons and find yourself with some time to kill, it's a very good way to earn brownie points.

Was going through some of the sketches from earlier this year and I saw I hadn't given Kylie the same treatment as Max! So I gave kylie's fashion experiments the colour pass she deserves!

Tried something a little different this time, still with the limited palette but with a hard 45 minute time limit. The result is a little simpler than the others, but the pressure taught me a lot and kept me on task.

Practicing limiting myself to a predefined colour palette, and using a brush that forced me to commit early to big blocks of colour. One of those things worked out better than the other.
