Purple Skies- I tentatively added the Brindleton Bay lighting to the new world, since the two are very similar. So far it seems to fit really well, and I’ll tweak if necessary.Sim Spawn OverhaulI have decided to hold back on updating SSO for now. I’m currently overhauling the mod entirely and it feels like wasted effort to update it now only to change it completely again in a few weeks.The mod isn’t broken so feel free to continue using it - it just won’t be compatible with anything from the new pack. Something was changed in the World Timeline Color resource, so I’ll have to wait for a new version of S4S before I can update Purple Skies for the new world. If you were using the mod you can continue to use it, it’s not broken, it just won’t have any effect on Moonwood Mills.I’m working on updating the rest of the mods, and will try to post those tomorrow if I’m able. Happy New Year! Things slowed down a bit by the end of 2021 as I took a break from modding and Sims in general, but now I’m getting back into it.I have bigger things planned for these mods in the future, but for now these are just some small QoL updates.Automatic Preferences- Added a level of randomness to the preference system. Purple SkiesIf you had the mod installed in your game folder, the objects for the new music festival wouldn’t spawn. This is now fixed.You only need to download the base game files (aka the Data folder).
Mod Update - 06/25/21
Into The Light- I made some slight tweaks to the mod so it fits better with the changes made to Out Of The Dark which are listed below.Out Of The Dark- There was an issue where adding lights to a dark room would make the unlit areas of the room too dark — this should no longer happen. Unlit rooms are now slightly darker to compensate.- Ambient light (light spreading to unlit areas of a room) is now stronger, so you won’t need as many light sources in a single room.
