Checking In
Hello patrons! Long time not see! It’s been a while since we have posted on here and I just wanted to check in and let ya know how things are going. I’m gonna be honest with ya, it’s been a rough spring for us. We started out so hopeful and excited to begin new music projects but sometimes thing that are essential to living get in the way of our creative expression. You see, our well has been having some troubles this year and is showing signs that it is going dry. We still have water now but if we continue to experience severe dro...

AUDIO DOWNLOAD: Ice Cream Stand
Ice Cream Stand is our Original Murder Ballad. A very tragic and true story unfortunately. Something we don't talk about in public is that Abe actually drove by this poor young man's body as he was lying in the street covered in a t-shirt surrounded by police officers. They were on their way prior to his death due to the automatic security alarm he (an unarmed man) set off while breaking and entering an empty ice cream stand in the middle of the night during closed hours and attempt to steal a cash drawer containing something around $15...
AUDIO DOWNLOAD: Fall Back On
Neither of us can remember who or what this murder ballad was about other than an anonymous murderer we vaguely remember researching from 1912 during our song school days. If we can recollect our memories one day we will keep you apprised. This song is one of 8 Ballads on our "Ballads & Heartstrings" Album. We wrote this around the same time we were super into singing "knoxville girl" and "little sadie" and of course "little maggie" .....also "flora (The Lily of the West)" All good murder ballads. The pur...
AUDIO DOWNLOAD: Look Up
We wrote Look Up around 2014 during an excursion to song school! We camped under the stars for days and wrote songs in the light and sat at the gate and ran security from midnight to 8am. It was a sad and trying time although being surrounded by so many musicians and artists fueled our souls through it all. Highlights for us were when Steve Martin jumped in line to the outhouse bathroom with everyone backstage. I remember the panicked look in his body guards eyes. Were these folk music loving hippies going to attack? Maybe very unlikely. We did...
AUDIO DOWNLOAD: Marquis 69
Marquis 69 is a song about friends for friends of any kind, species, make or model.

Peek inside
We’ve been absorbed into working in the digital world. Wanted to step back and give you all some true true pics of what that actually looks like in our world. This is our home/farm/recording studio/off grid life. Recording time for Izzy means lots of games and using the headphones for his morning watch. He’s in the “naked all the time” phase so our pictures on social media have been sparse. Update on the album: We picked up the CD’s! Yay! We’ll be notifying you individually via email with the date your package should arrive. In the ...

Into the Earth >>>Download This!
Into the Earth" is an 8 part Ballad / Love Letter to the 4 Seasons. Just about a ballad per minute this song was written as part of a 40 minute musical movement we recorded called "The Ballad of My Evolution" which has had to be put on the back burner for now. We plan to release it later this year if all goes accordingly. Until then you can enjoy this lengthy song in the comfort of wherever you are comfortable. This is the last song from our album "The Garden & Life" we will be posting and so hopefully you all now have the e...

Be Well >>>>Download This!
Our song "Be Well" which we originally wrote as an instrumental score to a video we made for our local university. We then wrote lyrics and added this song to the score for a documentary we edited called "Healing States 365" Part 1 and 2 are up. We spent 5 years editing and scoring this documentary and it has been a heart project for us now. We are partnered with the "Healing States 365" organization and have been managing their channel for a year now. We've found so much healing just in the process of editing and we...

This song has appeared in lots of our videos over the years and has only been recorded once before this album during a garage jam session. We hope you enjoy listening to this audio!

Our song The Garden Grew" we wrote down in an old notebook and forgot about it completely and decided on a whim that it absolutely had to be on the Garden & LIfe Album. So here it is in its most finished state since we wrote it down with a blue pen that was running low on ink. We also uploaded a video on our Sweet Radish Youtube Channel with some footage of our garden! We hope you enjoy this download! For Who You Are >>>>Download This!
Our song "For Who You Are" A Lesson in Imagination. Written during Folks Festival Song School in Lyons, CO. We paid for our tuition by working the entire festival doing gate security from midnight to 8:00am. I remember one night we fell asleep in our chairs around 7:00 am and a woman woke us to check her bracelet. We thanked her for waking us and her honesty and as she walked away we realized she was actually leaving the festival. On the upnote, we got to stand in the lunch line with the dude who sings "Man of Constant Sorrow" (...
Everyone Inc. >>>>Download This!
"Everyone Included" (Everyone Inc. ) our song exploring inclusivity and its meaning. What does it look like? What does it feel like? We wrote this song years ago during the peak of Morgan's hat felting endeavors. We were making connections with fellow wool enthusiasts all over the world and we wanted to make a how-to video on felting which this song was the original soundtrack for. The first time this song appears in our videos is in the credits section of our hat felting how to along with some pretty cute animations and illustratio...

Plant Seeds! >>>>Download this!
Our song "Plant Seeds" from our album the Garden and Life! We have been saving lots of seeds for years. We have many heirloom seeds that we got during the seed trade and more from hybrids we've been working on for years. Our focus is organic, subzero tolerant, drought tolerant varieties that can be grown in any type of soil, specifically unbalanced soil in need of repair and regeneration. Pollinators and Regenerators! When we arrived at our ranch as vacant land, it was clear that the previous farming operation had overtilled and ove...

Love Me Like a Song by Kimmie Rhodes and Willie Nelson
Jam session at twilight! We were asked to do this song for a friends wedding. We have not stopped singing it since.
Marquis 69 - Sweet Radish
Can’t remember if we actually made it through this song this night. Haven’t had time to rewatch this vid. I had a Marquis 69, White Wall tires, Stock Aqua Teal Blue, 429 engine V8, Black Hard Top, Aqua Seats ( Original), both front windows shattered one day when I closed the door. The starter was out so I started her with a Screwdriver everyday until I finally got the courage to fix it myself. A super easy job in the end. She was in mint condition. An angel sailing on land. I used to cruise Main Street up and down before it became a one way...
