Arackniss is reluctant, but he musters up the courage to tell Nik what happened to his stomach in exchange for Nik's scar story and we find out why Nik was appointed to Arackniss as his partner. Nik seems insecure about telling his story when his turn comes around, but as soon as is about to tell, something startles him from the bushes.

Nik goes into detail about his late wife and Niss starts to realize the relationship he is currently in isn't a normal relationship. Nik suggests he find a fuck buddy if he isn't satisfied with his sex life and let's Niss know he thinks the smaller spider is attractive despite the bad attitude, but Niss is in denial but that comment stuck with him.

It seems like they won't get rescued until Arackniss calls an unknown person who sounds angry, but can only get rescued the next morning, so they are going to have to spend the night in the forest. Arackniss seems upset, so Nik decides to tell him something about himself to try and squeez answers out of Arackniss by attempting to relate to him...
