reptile practice
lizards and cobras. And a rando dragon. The execution of which made me realize I need to study lizards more closely
I'm pausing billing for a month; Merry Christmas!
I've been a slug when it comes to creating so I'm going to pause for a month as a thanks to you guys for sticking around. I'll still upload things; they'll just be for free :P
Xmas swag for Nekot
Getting together some stuff to send out!
Just jamming
Messing around in photoshop.
A commission for Lupinator
For a while he lived in my hometown and he'd come over for drawing and such.
A more finished drawing.
Easing myself back into drawing.
I'm alive, I swear
Had to prep for MFF, then de-prep for MFF, then had my mother over. Been moving real slow. But here's a sketch page of Bowser for your delectation.
8 drawings for Talin
Pshew, I've been real busy working on Convention stuff, matting and printing and fighting with my cut machine, etc. I WILL be able to send out stickers and possibly other things. Gonna figure that out after the con.
Original-to-YCH for Lupinator
An old pal saw my work in progress of the dragon over the waterfall and asked if he could make it a commission and I said yes sure! I helped design his dragon (A little bit; most of it was his design)
twerking bunny
I'll have to do a deep dive on what is the best service for looping video to share here. Until then, here's the mp4 of the twerking bunny animation I made last night. It's not good, and requires more thought with the movement, but it was fun to just play around in flipaclip https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/rmzuxxkn95bo3uqj4ds7z/twerktwerk.MP4?rlkey=xqz3otsbuyg2wrdcp390fab7e&dl=0
Red dragon
Another wee paint for MFF
New Wee Painting
I'm enjoying just fooling around and not forcing myself too hard
Why hello, little human
He wants you to know he's not going to hurt you. He's a liar!
Got a few things to share here
A small illustration of a stalking dragon and two WIP trees of commissions.
Coyote sticker
I gave myself a few days to be an absolute sadsack potato. It was nice. Back to work time. Now that I'm making little merch things I am going to add them to my patreon. Probably $10 and up will get some monthly shipments.
Slowly getting closer
I have some mold goofs, as you may see here. But I know how I'll do it differently. My elderly cat has been fighting with heart disease and just lost the battle a few hours ago, so I've been pretty preoccupied. Unfortunately time does not stop for anything.
I am just making all the mistakes right now
Learning a new skill just takes all the time... I'm fighting with the temperature not quite curing my resin/molds, and mixing issues, and bubbling issues. BUT I'm slowly getting over them and soon I'll have something worthwhile to show and sell. HOPEFULLY. I might spend some time today just making safe old flat 2D artwork.
Sticker Suggestions?
Lemme know what you want to see! I will make them especially for my patrons. No copyrighted characters, but species, etc. (Can already guess cheetahs and shramps :P)
My first ever mold! (and a sticker)
It turned out great! No stickiness, no curing issues.
Two pendants
I'm gonna make molds for these! Let's see how this works!
Sabertooth
Possible sticker, alt sticker, pin lines. I did it, and it's fine, but I don't know. People don't see me work in this style a lot and it's kind of 'out-dated' for me. I think people expect more idfk sophisticated rendering.
Some Pin ideas (and Red13; ignore him)
He just happened to be on the page.
Working on pins!
I know this doesn't look like a lot but it represents two full days of experimenting with materials. So far the scrap matboard is looking like the best..
Acrylic pours
I'm a huge fan of art anyone can do, and acrylic pours are definitely that. If you've ever just wanted to play with paint and not have to make anything representative then acrylic pours might be for you!
a WIP and an experimental paint
I'm slowly making headway on this wolf lady. And to keep myself sane, I'm also playing with paint like a kid :P
Today's offerings
Some hare and a wee painting for SOME kind of convention.
Two Sketches
The fruits of the weekend. I did some biking and such otherwise.
Sculpted
I'm really powering along on art for MFF. Here's a painting I'll call finished.
Some non-painting
I was getting bored with painting, so I went back to pencil and character stuff.
WIPS
One of the biggest problems with spending more time on work is that I have less to show you guys any given day. Feels bad!
