a story
- Incident report -Security footage taken at the location shows a crowded venue filled with people.A seemingly tense interaction can be seen between two individuals some distance from the recording equipment. Audio did not pick up the conversation due to the amount of loud ambient noise. One eyewitness stated that through the noise they heard part of a comment made by one individual [A] to the other [B] as follows: "(unheard) make you wet?"The eyewitness added that the inflection of the comment made them uncomfortable. The security footag...

wanna guess my favorite Naruto character? ;}This is another small one on the Lenox cotton paper I mentioned in the previous post. They have some weird naming conventions but here's a LINKI really like it for graphite
its a small one
just a teeny tiny drawing something like 2x3"[not counting the dark background stuff, that's photoshop]a new paper for me, i got a sample pad of this lenox cotton substrate from Legion paper. its nice!i used it for my usual graphite+waterbrush style and it held up great
cleanup on page 2
this page still needs dialogue added and some general cleanupbut hey here it is! visual storytelling is so much fun so i'm doing all the artwork first.sound effects always feel awkward to me idk
upcoming merch design poll
Hi! So i've finally taken the plunge into patreon's built-in merch fulfillment thing.I have definitely failed at delivering consistent rewards and i think this will help get some sweet stuff into your hands without putting all that pressure on myself :']So yeah! I have a few cool designs up already for different thingsBut i wanna know what y'all would like to see in the future content-wisepleave vote! love u
no words for this one
well i like the drawing. i guess what i mean is i have no words beyond thatoh wait no i have wordsi laughed at myself when i added a single line to imply that this figure exists in some sort of space. is that a summit of artistic madness? or genius? that question was immediately unimportant as it spawned in me a realization that these concepts are dualistic reflections of each other. similar to chaos and order but further implicating the involvement of thought or consciousness in the process.a consciousness in order denotes genius, and the inve...
leaving your guard open like that?
o_oso im using really dark pencils for lines, blackwing standard & pearl.with a general's sketch & wash pencil for shading.scan it & turn up the contrast.done.
lock it within itself
non-real vs realeveryone and no one can claim ownership of this jpeg[s]trapped in a state of limbo until its ownership can be determined?of course not, that concept applies no weight to its extra/physical formsif it could exist it would flow as a raging river, and as you exist you are but one stonefar beneath its depthsof course you can do something
like right now
it appeared suddenly to startled reactions from the sparse crowd"appeared" doesn't seem quite accurate.. it was like it unfolded but in reversei couldn't even understand what i was seeing at first, and before i could process any of it or even rise to my feet a figure... slid outthey spoke strange words but i knew what they meantand knowing there was no hope was a strange comfort back then
a dark souls horror story
you have been invaded by a dark spiritif there isn't a Dark Souls creepypasta about giant dad there really should beprepare to die
its allabout the bag
Eyy nice i like how that bag turned outA lways good to be happy with a drawing when its wrapped upThis one was pretty roughT he paper i used was a little weirdH ow about youE at theR ichICH
hey its that dog
dogdamn i love drawing this character. they make a pretty early appearance in Errant, at least in this most recent iterationhis armor used to be lot more complex. well.. complex in a different way i guess. it used to have more plates closer to a full suit of armor and as cool as it was it is equally tricky to draw. also in context Arc does a lot of traveling early on and they probably wouldn't wear full plate for a long trekside note they are a good dog
eat toomany noodles
see what happenjust a lot of layers of graphite here, hopefully those pics from my phone are okoh yeah also if you like animals and body horror as much as i do you will really love my graphic novel stuffhappy tober
summon the C U B E
the cube exists half in in the physical realm and half in the ethereal counterpartthe first half was drawn onto a piece of paper with various graphite-based toolsthe second was conjured within the digital plane through poorly executed editing trickeryn e a t
a pencil cast to the page
a shadow cast in different directionsi never really have a strict script in mind when it comes to my comics. i used to write a lot more notes but jeez my relationship with art has gotten complicated since the wrist injury last summerso now i kind of just meditate on my characters and story ideas. whether that looks like a kind of sketching or straight-up meditation can vary but the general idea is to keep things fresh and in-mindso i'll post a chaotic mess of rough/unedited pages/ideas and sift through the mess later ;3love always
goshdarn bug anatomy is fun
(insect/arachnid/invertebrate anatomy, to be specific)half-joking i say that studying (bug) anatomy has been a lifelong passion but when i sit with that thought i realize its absolutely true. i just admire these creatures so much and with anatomy so different from our own it becomes a unique challenge to represent them realistically in character design. my goal is to create (bug) characters that are believable as if (bugs) evolved to become more complex and more self-aware beingsall this stuff is gonna be in a graphic novelyou know, the one i&#...
Hey y'all
wow..its been... wowI have a recurring daydream about what it would be like if i was a crab. The details arent important and they constantly shift anyway. The point is that it would be pretty cool. Crab desires are simpleIve been through a bit of a healing metamorphosis. Theres a long journey ahead but im finally getting the right help in regards to my mental health. My own hubris and/or stubbornness was blocking my progress and therefore my creativityanyway enough of that junk im gonna get to it. I miss y'all and im sorrylove alwaysPS seek...
Yeh?
Poke poke poke pokeIts graphite!
oh wow
it has been a whileIt's nice to see you :]
slower than before, but still good
i used to try and force myself to work for big blocks of time in the name of being productive. it never really worked and i'm more disappointed than anything that it took me this long to do something about it.now i'm drawing for 60-90 minutes at most before i take a break and do something else for a while. i'm also rotating the drawings i'm working on when i get tired of one or hit a wall. its working well
Post title (required)
i'm starting to feel pretty comfortable with this new process (see face in upper-right)i'm also trying not to focus on any differences from how i was drawing pre-injury. i was happy with my style then and i guess i needed to grieve the loss of it. sounds weird but feels real.
sword girl sword girl swor
carrots & peasmac & cheesedragon & hoardgirl & swordso yeah this was a sketch from a few weeks ago, or like a month+? I don't know. It was one of the first large(r) drawings i did after all those post-its. I've had to re-consider how i do line work with my wrist injury and this was my first major success. Well for something bigger than a post-it.all this stuff is still in abstract thought-cloud form, so i gotta distill it a bit more before i put it into wordsi love ya though!
paper test gets out of hand
so yeah this started out as a super rough sketch to try out some new paper. Clearpoint 100% cotton vellum. The employee at the store told me they knew someone that used it for oil painting? This stuff is as thin or thinner than standard printing paper :oanyway i just wanted to try a light watercolor-style wash to see what would happen and i ended up liking it and getting carried away. The paper wrinkled a bit (which you can see in the scan) but it performed way better than i expected.i can definitely see myself using this for light washes in th...
long time no spriggan
my ocs have been living in my head for way too long now
i really like the Binding of Isaac
it is a fun game that i've always wanted to do some fanart for so here's a goopy gaper guy. While i will get back into my personal projects in the future, in the meantime i've just been practicing and forming good habits. It's been a slow start for sure but i'm learning how to draw in a new way that doesn't mess with my injury, though i still can't put in long hours. Instead i'm spending smaller chunks of time sketching and switching between a few more serious drawings like this one.I used pencils for line and wa...

demon dress process
In the third image you can see some of the over-shading before I erase it out (6_6 )It looks real ugly before it looks nice. Kind of drives me crazy.
don't lose your robohead process
I'm still figuring out exactly what my digital process is.. but so far I lay out flat tones and fiddle with them until it looks nice. I over-shade on a new layer (under linework) with a soft-ish brush at 33% opacity, then I do the same with highlights (layer over linework.) Finally I erase all the junk I over-shaded -Next time i'll provide an image of what it looks like at this step, I was working in a sleep-deprived state and I forgot oops :')
cull + robolady process
I'll always line traditionally and while I love digital stuff it can be a bit overcomplicated at times. It can make me feel like there's too many options for completing a piece. Writing notes has helped get my thoughts straight :)
