It ended up being a pretty slow intro, prologue aside, but I felt that it was necessary to spend some time establishing the tones and logic of the world before the plot really gets going. I wanted it to feel like the languid opening scene of Dog Day Afternoon, spending time communicating the vibe of a time and place before everything hits the fan. Hopefully it's not too boring lol.I'm taking the next two weeks off from comics, so next update will be a couple of omakes. Sams...

<< Start | < Previous | Next >This one's coming in a couple of days late, sorry! I was extremely busy over the weekend. I rushed out the rest of the inks for chapter 1 to do a print zine for Hallozeen zine fair over the weekend, but a lot of them were rough and I needed to go back and touch up all the pages. I also redesigned Red's hair -- will be going back and stealth patching the previous set of pages over the next few days.Next update is the chapter ending! Coming 15th Nov for A$3 Patrons/15th Dec for everyone else :)

I did like 9 (quick) passes on the rock face before I got the hang of it. I also had to redo Red's hair a few times across these pages -- opted to give her a blunter cut because it's easier to draw and frame her face with.This scene is a homage to the opening of My Own Private Idaho (1991) dir.
