Shed Build Progress, Jan 2019
Sorry it’s taken so long but finally I have an update on the shed build. It’s been a bit of a slog trying to keep up with the YouTube workload and build this at the same time, so for much of it I just haven’t had the energy to film as I go. I’m pretty much only getting footage when my wife comes and does it for me :)
Corsair Sent Us a Christmas Gift

I’m feeling like garbage today guys, have been for a few days now. Today I’m just sitting at the test bench all day doing memory capacity testing but after a few hours I needed a break so I chatted to the camera. BTS: Storm Damage to property
Last night we have a quick but brutal storm pass though and it took out a huge amount of our garden. Just the garden was damaged so it could have been a lot worse, still a bit upset since I’ve spent a lot of time on it, but we can rebuild :)All of the plants on the property were grown from seed so shame to see so many of them go after 9 years.

It's even worse than we thought!
The benchmarks carried out by Principled Technologies are even more bogus than we first thought. A few viewers pointed out that the Ryzen 7 2700X was listed as tested in the “Game Mode” within the Ryzen Master software and I foolishly thought they might have just made a simple copy and paste error in their document as they would have used this mode for the 2950X. This does explain why the Threadripper CPUs were faster than the 2700X in every test.What this means is a CCX module in the 2700X was completely disabled, essentially turning it in...
