Finally !!After my initial unhapiness with these pictures, it took a day or two to finally appreciate them ! Especially the one with the blue background, I find them really cool at the end of the day !The edit on them is not final, as I quickly worked on them just to get a preview of what they could look like ! Okokok I was so concerned about the wig but it turned out ok ! Fits very well with the makeup and the celshaded crown !I'm all done with the tutorials so I'll send everyone a DM with the links soon.Now I just need to invest in a real green lipstick because I did it with eyeshadow and the feeling is so crusty and terrible. Melinoë's WIP #1 : celshaded dress
Why make a nice simple cosplay when you can make everything more difficult and time consuming? However I love celshaded stuff so it's worth it !I'm currently writing the tutorial on how to paint fabric and celshaded this particular dress with step by step pictures and illustration ! Should be available this month as well as Melinoë's weapon/crown/wig tutorial and patterns.And perhaps also Samus left arm ? We will see !All the armor painting stuff will be in stand alone tutorial because otherwise it'll be very VERY repetitive!

I still have to add a zipper in the back and then I'll maybe find a way to hide it ? Or not I'll see !Base is 5mm EVA foam then all details were 5, 2 and 1 foam ! The textured bits were made with the sanding bit of the Dremel, it's fairly easy to do but I'll try to make a detail explanation in my tutorial. There's also multiple ways of building some details which I'll try to cover as well. Metroid Dread Samus WIP#1 : shoe base
Woop woop first Samus WIP !!!Started with a pair of thrifted shoes I found on Vinted. Then added pieces of foam here and there to create the details and accurate shape ! Some are looking weird because I can't glue them until they're painted ! I'm also planning on adding LEDs, I left room for it. I'm just waiting for a shipment to start on it ! The green part piece is removable so I can have an easy access to the batteries. Next step is the shin guards, knee and thigh armor. I don't know yet if I'll do separate tutorials ...

Wanda WIP #4 : finished bodice !!!
I'm so incredibly happy about the result !!! The colours are so vibrant and pretty, the closure is almost completely invisible and it fits perfectly!!I also put a comparison with my 2021 Wanda bodice. Proof that even when you don't feel like improving, you still do. Even though I didn't mean for my 2021 one to be wearable in convention (that's why it has no back), I still put some effort into the paint job and foamsmithing. Wanda WIP #3 : finished Darkhold + health update
Very evil book is done and so is the tutorial and pattern !I'm super happy about it. I used a folder binder for the pages inside because I wanted to be able to change the content with whatever I wanted ! Esoteric pages for pictures and conventions, recipes for when at home !I drew multiple pages by hand, 2 of them being the one visible in Wandavision, the other I got inspired with the necronomicon and other fantasy grimoire design I found online. Wanda WIP #2 : BODICE
Ooooouh NGL it's looking very good so far. I can't wait to compare this to my old breastplate, the progress is kinda insane ! Proof you can always improve, even in short period of time !I still have to add a zipper in the back, and possibly adjust the fit ! Once done I will be able to connect the 'skirt' thingie to the main bodice. I want to be removable, but I don't want the velcro to be visible on the main bodice. Since I have a con coming soon and I need 3 costumes that are easy to pack for travel, I decided I would remake my Wanda costume !
