Curiosities: The Legend of Zelda Original Concept Art

http://www.slightlywarped.com/crapfactory/curiosities/2013/november/legend_of_zelda.htm If you've never seen this vintage Zelda art, you're missing out! I love Ocarina and its predecessors, but I'll never forgive them for pushing the franchise's aesthetic away from this weird, grungy feel. I was thinking about it, and the next time I take a crack at my Clockwork Empire project, it would be neat to try it in a style that's closer to this, with wonky lineart and some watercolor effects. What do you guys think?

This is just an aside, but in addition to painting DS #39 right now, I've also thumbnailed and lettered two comics ahead, both of which are actually MEGA-DOUBLE-SIZED, so basically I'm four comics ahead!
