[wip] Okapi

Actually, there was okapi day in October. (October 18th)I couldn't finish it on time,, ( I was drawing mushrooms🍄) but every day is cute animal day, so!Okapi look like zebras, but are said to be related to giraffes. So another name is forest giraffe and zebra giraffeInstead of a giraffe's long neck, they have a very long tongue.SketchI even thought about drawing okapi and giraffe together. But maybe the giraffe is so famous that maybe the giraffe will be the main character and okapi will look like a sub character, so I only drew okapi....

[wip / wallpaper] White sea slug

This is a sketch I drew a while ago.Today- October 29th is sea slug day, so I decided to complete this. The first idea sketch was an imaginary sea slug looks like a cloud, so they felt like in the sky.As I changed the direction of drawing the charm of real animals rather than imagining while completing it, a lot of that feeling disappeared... but I still left a somewhat white and fluffy feeling.Because sea slug day is close to Halloween,I think it would be fun to draw a ghost sea slug next year :D---------------wallpapers -----------------If you...

[wip] Mushroom - layout

[ drawing ] Mushroom 1. Edible[ drawing ] Mushroom 2. Toxic, inedible, unknownIn a previous post, I wrote that I was considering how to complete this. Here is my layout work in process.1. SizeI listed the mushrooms according to their size.I thought about drawing all mushrooms the same size and writing the name below, so I didn't look for the size at first. But I changed my mind,It was really fun looking for the size information.Sometimes it seems that there are quite a few edible mushrooms that grow to be incredibly large.Maybe such mushroom...

[ drawing ] Mushroom 2. Toxic, inedible, unknown

[ drawing ] Mushroom 1. EdibleThere are many interesting names for poisonous mushrooms.Maybe it's a name to give people awareness? It is definitely a name that is hard to forget once you hear it.In Korea, many poisonous mushrooms contain names such as 'crazy' and 'fart', devil, clown.I thought it would be nice if the poisonous mushrooms had a little playful or scary face. The fangs will be a cute point.I sketched close to 50 mushrooms like this. There were so many kinds of mushrooms, it was hard to choose!I'm currently cons...

[ drawing ] Mushroom 1. Edible

Mushrooms are getting high votes in the sticker design poll right now....When I put 'Mushroom' on the vote, I was still in the research stage, and I didn't think they would get a lot of votes because I didn't have a finished picture.I am glad that many people are looking forward to my mushrooms😇There are so many types of mushrooms, so I'm going to update them in two.The first is edible mushrooms, the second is poisonous mushrooms and so on.There are edible mushrooms that are poisonous, there are mushrooms that become pois...

[wip] Leaf mimics

* Related postOrchid mantis WIP[ sketch ] Moth and blueberry frog[wip] Butterflies Day[idea sketch / drawing] Leaf-mimic babyColor paletteI thought of the autumn feeling in early October. There are fallen leaves, but there are still many green leaves. There are many animals imitating dead leaves rather than living ones in this painting, and the bright yellow-green background will make them more alive and lively. If I had completed the same sketch in November, I think I would have painted it with more gray and purple on a dark background...😁But ...

[idea sketch / drawing] Leaf-mimic baby

It is now October and the autumn days are definitely starting to come. There are still more green leaves, but soon there will be more brown leaves. As I was walking down the street, I suddenly had an idea about leaf-mimic camouflage animals. Some animals have already been drawn before... :DIf I draw again this time, I plan to draw it more like a leaf shape.Thank you!

[wip] Pill bugs

[idea sketch] pillbug and sticker sheetsI did some isopod doodles in May, and it was an idea that came to me at that time.An unfinished sketch has been on my desktop all the time, and it's finally finished.I've been drawing this isopod all week and finally my soul is satisfied. From the beginning, I had this in mind as a series with jelly bean seaslug. When I originally drew the jelly bean sea slug, I thought of jelly in a glass bottle, but I didn't want to draw glass material, so I changed it to a bag...haha.
