Flare
Requires npr-prototype blender build(download/details)
Comms
Software: Material Maker 1.4rc2
Ocean
Requires NPR-prototype build(Download)
hi-tech/scifi barrier AoE
Used Material Maker(v1.4b1) but v1.3 should sill workThis is mostly inspired by sekido's aura fx from their after effects course (not affiliated with or have taken their course, I just thought it looked cool but I can't find any other link to it)
Swords
Re-rendering of a material done during mayterials using material maker.blend file and original material .ptex + textures (slightly modified from here) is included in zip
Garden
Re-rendering of a material done in material makertextures are packed into the .blend
Bricks
Re-rendering of a brick material done in material maker(source .ptex file here).blend file/textures are included in the zip file
Trails
old test file (blender 3.3)
color light
flare setup using repeat zone in material nodesrequires the npr buildto function/open properly
color warp
requires the npr build
Flare
flare setup using gabor texture as a basis
tests
some more tests/samples, .blend file for the generator setup will be available later by tomorrow or so
night scene
2d background test based on atutorial/guide by smile on twitter
3d maze
raymarched 3d maze, basically 2d truchet tiles extended to 3d using the opExtrude operator ( based on opExtrusion from https://iquilezles.org/articles/distfunctions/, nodegroup via this library)Requires the npr-prototype build
tube structure
uses the npr buildstudy based on shane's shader, minus quite a lot of things except the the gyroid structure and tunnel
Terrain Raymarch
uses the npr blender buildsimilar to the globe setup but on a flat surface , also with the shadows done correctly this time (based on this)
Halo
Based on Shigure's halo from Blue Archivemini tutorial
box noise raymarch
uses the npr build
sdf shadows
test implementing sdf shadows in a simpler scene, based on code here(classic raycasting method)used the box frame sdf from here as a sample but really any sdfs can be usedOne more note that this still uses the npr build so opening this blend using regular blender will give you red nodes
voxels shader
Based on Xor's voxel tracerbut ported to nodes, again using the npr-prototype blender branch to do loops
planet raymarch
raymarching material on a plane using the npr-prototype branch
procedural books
Tried making a book generator with modifiers (simple bevels/solidify) but still ended up using (mostly) geometry nodesThe glyphs are taken from the Hangul generator (rendered to an image texture) and smoothed out a bit. Placement is a bit messy in the material atm though
3d fly-through
done using the npr-prototype branch
Parallax
simple parallax card based on the bsky splash screen
Rainbow
Test port(not everything, just the conversion) from this shadertoy to understand a bit more about oklab
Innards
test porting a twigl shader from yonatan, to blender uisng the npr-prototype branch
Overcast
godrays by stacking layers of noise (npr-prototype blender)shadertoy version
