Drawing Board…
This is my second attempt at this idea. I’ve gotten into the habit of taking something all the way to the end and going: “🤔… Nope!” And then throwing it in the wastepaper basket of my mind.

Sometimes you get an idea in your head and you have to spend a huge chunk of your day trying to see it through. Sometimes the idea is a character you don't know if you'll ever use and sometimes it takes you way too long to finesse a design that you think works, but in the back of your head you know you'll probably want to re-do it two days later. Distractions
So far, the new year has been a tough one and I got really distracted from 12-Inch. Cannen and Patrick from the Clubhouse have sorta taken center stage in my sketching - probably because they're shiny and new. Patrick is based on a guy I follow on Twitter who I find really hard to caricature so I can never really figure out if I've gotten him right. 'Tis the Season
December has already been a lot of unfinished pages, sketch sessions, and Me watching my Patreon followers jump ship. This is my busiest week at work and then I'm off until the New Year, so expect to see in a few days.My goals for next year are to: 1) Focus on pages - get back on a consistent schedule 2) Stop hoarding "reference" - use it or lose it and 3) Work on one thing at a time - why am I juggling??

I have an odd relationship with the blank comic page. Which is not unique to me of course - everyone does.
