we've started putting together book 4, which is mostly digging through hard-drives to find files.Every time we do this, we say "from now on, we file this stuff much better!"and we do. for like two months, then go back to our ramshackle just-put-it-anywhere system.Anyhow, one of the actual fun bits of doing a book is the cover, and here's where we're at with that- this book is going to have that big ol' Kronar adventure in it, so he gets to be on the front.

So here's a thing we didn't even think about-if you do a strip where someone spells out letters, that makes it hard for anyone trying to do a translation.Some lovely Russians asked if we'd do a translated version of that top row, so we did this-So hit us up if you need some full-body translation done....can't promise it'll be legible in Korean.

The cover art for the 1992 video game 'The Dark Queen of Krynn' makes some pretty big promises. Has anyone played the game?Is it set in a world without rope? They've got chains, obviously, but they're more a fashion accessory than a prisoner restraint.

Something Cookin'

We're working on a long story with a bunch of old characters. Mistress, Sandoval and friends. The bad kinds of friends. The story is written, and we've roughed out a hundred (!) pages so far, with a good hundred more (!!) to go. Lots of design to do, lots of new faces, so we're going to give our lovely Patrons behind-the-scenes peeking as we gear up for launch, which we're hoping to do later in the year. Here's a certain castle redesign, some sketches, and a penciled page from the beginning of the tale.
