Little Mouse | in between steps

Some in betweens of the latest commission I finished. It's really interesting to see how it developed and a showing a bit of an insight to how I progressively introduced the lights and effects in rendering it.Fun fact: While coming up with the composition and posing, I couldn't resist to have a little insider with myself and reference Michelangelos Pieta Statue, which is why their posing is different in the first sketch. I adjusted it to fit the vision of my customer more down the line, but the artistic nod still lives on.

Finished this stunning piece, definitely gotta say; a good lighting situation makes for an awesome drawing! Really had fun putting all the different lights and colors to good use to give it that extra ✨drama✨ everything involving Raphael needs, haha!
