Thanks! This kind of clothing was called kaunakes by the Greeks. The exact nature of kaunakes is debated, but they were most likely woolen fabric with tassels made to resemble a fleece. Modern shepherds cloak in Eastern Europe and Iran are made in the same manner. It is quite puzzling that the ruling class of the agricultural Sumerian society wore a nomadic-style woolen clothes.
