Mountain of Magnus
🕑 Added 2024-03-13 12:11:35 +0000 UTCAfter Spyro freed him from his Crystal prison, Magnus had his claws full running the remaining gnorcs out of the Peacekeepers world. They were like cockroaches, crawling out of cracks and crevices to once more be of nuisance. Stomping, slamming, and setting them ablaze provided the large dragon with some sport and much exercise. By the end of the day, he was left tired and lounging in one of the dragon castles, gulping down a large mug of ale and tearing into a bowl stacked with charred mutton.
The downtime allowed him to reflect on the gnorc army and how the dragons allowed themselves to lose control of their own worlds. Furthermore, how was it a young dragon like Spyro defeated Gnasty Gnorc while the rest of them required saving? As a peacekeeper dragon, it felt awkward passing the protection of the dragon worlds to one so small. If he were to better fulfill his role as a peacekeeper, he would have to grow stronger; and as a sumo dragon, that implied growing larger.
The next day, Magnus visited the Town Square in the Artisans world. Not having visited since before the defeat of Gnasty Gnorc, he grew eager to see his equally large friend, Devlin. He clutched at his hefty belly, tenderly sliding his claws across its scales as it rumbled. Along with his love of meat, his friends' baking was also partly responsible for him amassing such a burly physique. Oftentimes after completing his peacekeeper duties he’d pay a visit to Devlin’s bakery, sampling pies in both claws or devouring a cake the size of his head. Remembering such creamy-frosty goodness caused him to lick his chops. After their whole imprisonment ordeal, he hoped the dragon was as busy as ever making a mountain of sweets for him to greedily glut down.
Devlin’s bakery was at the center of town, at a street corner near the central fountain. Magnus smacked at his gut, smelling the delectable scents of freshly baked cookies and brownies pouring out from the cracked windows of the front door. He grinned at the sizeable width of the entrance, more than wide and tall enough to accommodate a dragon of his size, at least for the time being. A bell rang above the doorway as he walked through. Shelves were lined up along the left and right walls carrying an assortment of cakes, pies, donuts, and sweet breads. The front shop had a display case showing rows of sheet cake, cookies, and chunky cake slices topped with nuts and fruit. Magnus chuckled as he rubbed his claws. This veritable wonderland of sweets was more than suitable for his growing needs.
“I’ll be right with you,” called a voice from the back room of the bakery. A blue tail emerged from the doorway, followed by the rest of the tall-hulking dragon. He turned around while holding out his cake peel, with a three layer pink cake sitting at the edge. His eyes were aglow upon noticing Magnus. Setting the peel and cake down on a nearby counter, he removed his toque and apron, and walked around the display case with his arms wide open.
“Magnus, you big brute, it’s been too long.”
Magnus returned the hearty embrace. Upon feeling both their rotund figures meeting one another, his eyes bulged with surprise. Though Devlin seemed as large as he remembered, the baker actually managed to surpass him in girth, feeling his belly be slightly overtaken by the blue dragon’s. “Far too long, my friend. How have you been?”
“Reinvigorated since being freed from my crystal prison. The last time I filled these shelves so quickly, I was an apprentice baker, and you a peacekeeper in training.”
“I remember. You’ve certainly grown as a baker since then.”
Devlin chuckled as Magnus prodded his gut with a claw. “And you’re still stomping around as hefty as ever; which I’m not ashamed to say I’ve played a part in. I always enjoyed seeing you walk in here pudgier than before.”
“Hey, what can I say,” Magnus pounded his wobbling gut, “I just couldn’t resist coming back.”
“Which brings you to today’s visit.”
“Haha, that’s right. After being freed, I thought that I’d start training again. So, I’d like your help, and that of your delectable baking, to bulk me up some more so I can get bigger and stronger than ever. Heh, there’ll be no crystal statue that can contain me after that.”
Devlin looked over the red dragon, grinning and ponderously holding a claw to his chin. “Hmm, well I’m certainly confident I can help with the former. With your current stature, I can’t imagine how well you’d stuff yourself compared to your younger days.”
Making his way back to the display case, Devlin took four large pies and spread them out over the case top. “Lets begin with some of your favorites then, shall we?”
Magnus approached the pies, holding one from the bottom of its tin and raising it up to his nostrils. He took a large whiff, his eyes rolling with pleasure at the mouth watering apple and cinnamon scent of the warm steam. He had forgotten just how large Devlin made his pies, wide and around larger than his own head, one being a suitable enough dessert for any dragon. Feeling no shame or embarrassment with Devlin watching him, Magnus took his first bite, pushing his face into his meal and lapping up all that he could between his ample cheeks. Half the pie had vanished, some lingering on his snout with the rest slithering down his gullet after briefly chewing.
Devlin craned his neck back, eyebrows raised as Magnus finished the second half of the pie. “Look at you go. I never thought it possible for someone to finish one of my pies in two bites, but you make it look easy.”
“You haven’t seen anything yet.” Magnus cleaned off his snout, liking what remained of the pie off his claws. “Fire up those ovens, my friend. These shelves are going to be awfully empty before long.”
He took two more pies from the top of the display, holding them in each claw. As he did with the previous, the dragon dug his face in, lapping up ample portions of pumpkin and berry pie, like running a plow through soil. Devlin recoiled at his sheer gluttony, watching him somehow manage to fit the entirety of both pies in his mouth, reducing them to a massive lump in his gullet. Magnus winced while muscling it all down with a single gulp. Blowing a content sigh, his wings flapped upon his meal landing in his gut with a subtle glorp.
While Devlin returned to the back to bake up more desserts, Magnus had free reign over everything on display. He finished the last pie atop the display, then moved over to the shelves on the left side of the shop. The space of the aisle between the inner and outer shelves was just wide enough for him to comfortably walk through without his tail or waistline knocking anything over. From both the left and right shelves, he picked at multiple donuts and bundles of sweet bread, cradling a large mound with one arm and resting them against his chest. Once he lost view of the shop in front of him, he proceeded to stuff his face.
His serpent-like tongue relished the sweet flavors of the different powdered sugars, the variety of glazes used on the donuts, and the different fillings that gushed in his mouth when biting into certain pastries. He murmured with such delight, basking in the sugary-creamy heaven that came with eating desserts after eating nothing but meat for weeks. The old joys of frequently visiting the bakery during his peacekeeper training days suddenly flooded back to him. However, now that he was fully grown and with a much improved appetite, he’d certainly be capable of devouring more sweets than he ever had in previous days.
Feeling euphoric, Magnus shoved pastries into his mouth with added fervor. With his right arm, he pushed the amalgamation of sweets in his mouth toward the back of his throat until it was nothing but a large wad of bread, swallowing with mild strain and feeling it splash in his gut. After swallowing three mounds, the pile of sweets on his arm had vanished. The smorgasbord drove him to pull out the trays of sweets straight out of their shelves, tipping them over his head and cascading the food into his open mouth. From left to right he devoured rows of sweets on display, making his way toward the opposite side of the shop.
The influx of food caused his stomach to quickly fill to capacity, jutting it outward more than before. Halfway down the aisle, he filled his stomach to a point he’d normally stop; but for the sake of his training, and a smidge of guilty enjoyment, he pushed his gut to handle more. As a result, he felt his belly stretching after each mouthful of pastries. His waistline grew wider, beginning to rub against the empty shelves he walked past. His haunches felt the bottom of his gut drooping further between them, as well as further rubbing against them whenever he took a step forward. Arching his back, he huffed at the added weight to his belly, grinning at having it blorp and glorp while it swayed from side to side with each step.
Reaching the end of the aisle, Magnus belched and groaned after wolfing down enough donuts and bread to fill him up multiple times over. He underestimated just how filling it would all be, but couldn’t be happier with the results. With both claws, he hefted his titanic boulder of a belly, nearly doubling his original size, and heavier than most of the weights he trained with. Along with his midsection, his limbs, tail, and face also puffed up in size. The sugary sweets lent themselves well in providing him with plentiful amounts of fat. Running his claws through his added corpulence and giving his larger love handles and squeeze, the huge dragon grunted with contentment.
“*Uff*, oh yeah, *umf*, this is more like it, *urp*. With all this, *huff*, added bulk, I’ll be stronger than ever, hehe.”
As he chuckled to himself, the hypnotic sounds of his glorping gut caused Magnus to suddenly become drawn to it. Once more clutching it in his grasp, he gave it a curious shake. The landfill of sweets occupying it sloshed from left to right, pleasurably churning his gorge like whisking cake ingredients to form the batter. The amount of added heft to his body also pleased him, having his claws sink further into his scaly flesh, as if his rough dragonhide had malformed into soft malleable dough. After a few minutes of shaking his belly about, he let plop back to the ground with a loud squelch that sent shivers down his portly back.
The size of his massive belly enthralled him like never before, to the point trimming it somewhat with exercise and training felt almost like a crime. Hearing it burble, his attention was drawn to the sweets at the other side of the store. Shelves loaded with cookies, pies, and cake slices all eagerly awaited him, ready to lend their own fattening traits to his growing figure. The thought of it felt too tantalizing to resist. Magnus gleefully patted his blorping belly. Rather than fattening for the sake of growing stronger through training, he suddenly fell in love with the idea of simply fattening for the sake of growing fatter.
Arching his back, the dragon lifted his gut off the ground just enough to waddle toward the other side of the shop. His corpulent thighs took wider strides than before just to move, while his thick tail snaked along the floor. Filling out the aisle, he grabbed at any and all desserts he could reach, greedily packing his belly far beyond its capacity. Fueled by an insatiable need to grow larger, he was determined to overeat despite the strain put on his stomach, even if it meant passing out.
On the left aisle, Magnus took boxes of cookies from the shelves, opening their tops and pouring their entire contents into his maw. He struggled against his belly reaching the bottom shelves, feeling the weight of his body squash his plethora of indigested gorge. On the right shelves, he swiped at large chocolate and cream pies, as well as large squares of sheet cake and cheesecake. His fat face appeared swollen by the amount of desserts he squeezed between his cheeks before finally swallowing. He moaned, feeling the massive orb of food clearing his chest, then pushing out further space within his belly. Sloppily grinning, he felt enraptured by the intensely bloated sensation of his growing belly. The joy of eating well beyond his means left him feeling like a new dragon.
Gorging down the aisle, he found himself sticking out his gut more and more just to somewhat comfortably move. His waistline and haunches had widened to the point of squishing against the shelves on either side of him. His robust chest and bulky arms made it more difficult to reach for further food as the aisle became cramped like a tight hallway. His belly spilled out onto the floor, loudly glorping with each step he took forward, pressing his chunky legs against its underside just to move forward. The empty shelves behind him were soon knocked over, while the bottom shelves in front of him he had to reach by leaning atop of his gut.
Magnus belched and moaned after every mouthful, puffs of smoke trailing from his mouth. He reveled in each new inch of added blubber, taking brief moments to squeeze and grope at the corpulent bulk weighing him down. Between the cramped aisle, he could slam his claws down at the front of his enormous gut, blithely murmuring as it now rippled like a sea of jello. Its amazing girth was now far wider than Devlin’s own waistline, at least doubling his own belly in size. The once rough armor of his scales was now soft like a feathered bed, now capable of sinking his claws into, which now buried themselves up to his wrists. It seemed all his limbs were now similarly cushioned, plumped up with fat like that of a well fed cow or pig. The added weight thrilled him like nothing else. His euphoria drowned out how immensely full he actually was; being this fat was quite the rapture, and he craved even more.
Reaching the end of the aisle, Magnus left a mess of demolished and knocked over shelf stands in his wake. Crumbs littered the floor, spread around by his beefy tail which now filled in what remained of the aisle. Back near the display case at the front of the shop, his claws sunk underneath the hefty three layer cake Devlin had left sitting on a counter. He brought it up to his mouth, tilting his head back and wolfing down as much as he could physically fit. Within only a few gulps, the entire cake vanished, leaving only icing which Magnus licked off his claws and mouth. The massive dragon moaned with such contentment. Finally able to bask in his enormity, his dazed eyes could hardly comprehend how fat he had become.
“*Ooourp*, *ooogh*. I can’t believe I, *uuurp*, *uuff*, ate everything. *Huff*, just look at me, *urp*. Have you ever seen a fatter dragon? *Mmmff*, I’m so huge, *bworp*, and I love it.”
No longer confined between the aisle, the corpulent dragon had ample space to fully admire his gains. The sweets of the bakery coated his already heavyset figure with abundant amounts of ample blubber. He clutched his claws around the top of his thickened waistline, managing to wobble his entire body with a few shakes. From the bulging fat coating his thickened neck, to the folds of his corpulent tail squishing against one another, his jiggling blubber left him entranced in a dream of hedonistic ecstasy.
“Good heavens!”
From behind the bakery’s backroom, Devlin poked his body halfway through, looking on at his shop and Magnus with shock, his apron and scaly hide now splattered with different colors of frosting.
“What happened to my shop,” he exclaimed, “what happened to you?”
Magnus wore a triumphant grin, slamming his arms down atop of his whale of a gut, filling the room with thunderous sloshing and wobbling his belly uncontrollably. “This stomach happened, *uuurp*. Looks like I can pack away a lot more than our younger days.”
It pleased the red dragon to see his friend so dumbfounded, along with now being head height with his own belly, and a fraction as wide. Suddenly, Devlin’s shock gave way to smug grin of his own. “I was hoping you’d be ten times the glutton you were all that time ago. Come around to the back, you’re going to love what I made.”
Magnus groaned as he budged himself forward, sloppily grinning while struggling against his blubbery mass. Squeezing past the display and back counter, he ate what sweets were on display before his body tipped the display over. He managed to pass the upper half of his body through the backroom opening before growing stuck; his bulging waist tightened around the archway the further he pulled himself into the room. After wincing from the struggle, he partly rested atop of his belly, opening his tired eyes to the sight of the largest cake he had ever seen. Ten layers tall, it stretched wider than Devlin’s own waistline and nearly reached the bakery ceiling.
The red dragon salivated, filled with a renewed vigor to pack the entire cake within his stomach. With added strength, he pushed himself through, collapsing flat onto the floor while tearing off chunks of wall from the entrance. He pulled himself up to the table seating the cake and began eating while Devlin watched. His arms wrapped around it as much as they could, pulling the cake into his awaiting maw and filling out all available space. His eyes blissfully rolled as a cascade of cake and frosting filled up his gullet, causing what felt like a never ending stream of pastry to occupy his throat no matter how much he gulped.
As he ate, his blubberous body pooled further around him, stretching wider with each mouthful. His tiny wings soon became engulfed by the rolls on his back. The distance between his feet and the floor grew as his gut raised his legs; even his robust tail touched less of the floor before dangling down his underbelly. The girth of his swelling waist soon resembled that of five Devlins, which the dragon himself was nervously sweating at the entrance, watching his magnum opus quickly reduce in size while Magnus made the otherwise spacious room appear to shrink in size.
Halfway done with the cake, the hulking mass of a dragon briefly paused his feast. Gripping the table, he arched himself back and practically rolled down his mountain of a belly, groaning from the ensuing sloshes. He lifted the table up to his chest as he stood upright, barely planting his feet on the ground. He slowly turned to face Devlin, his belly creating a storm of thick tar-like bubbling and churning. It dragged along the floor, squelching and rippling like water each inch he stopped turning. A red wobbling monolith, he towered over the blue dragon, eclipsing much of the bakery behind him with his immense corpulence.
Fully facing his friend and pushing out as much of his blob-like belly as he could, Magnus tipped the table and slid the remaining half of the cake toward his maw. He fattened up further with what remained of the cake, feeling his haunches, backside, and tail continue to shift his balance, as well as his arms being able to flex themselves less and less. The table fell to the floor snapping two of its legs, while the remaining sat in Magnus’ open mouth. He craned his neck upward like a bird, swallowing what remained with his now tiny looking claws resting atop of his vast gut. In a few gulps, the cake had vanished. The final mound forcibly thrusted his belly outward one last time, causing the dragon to tilt backward. His tail was incapable of holding back the wide ocean of roiling blubber, causing him to fall on his back; the squelching impact left him dazed, with the weight of his feast pouring on top of him, squishing up against his snout.
“My word,” said Devlin, cautiously approaching the undulating mass of scales. “Are you alright?”
Magnus’ wobbling gut sloshed back in place; he wore a content grin, effectively pinned down by his mountainous mound of fat. “Never, *bwooooorp*, better.”
“Well, I dare say you won’t be training anytime soon, or I baking for that matter. Not with you taking up a good portion of the room.”
“*Uuuurp*, *ooogh*. Forget training. I prefer this, *orp*, much more. Think I’ll hang up my role as a peacekeeper, and just settle for being the fattest-largest dragon in all the realms.”
Magnus gave his gut a hearty smack. Devlin recoiled back, worried it would collapse on him with how it swayed from side to side. “In that case, I’ll have to refill my stock, and find another place to bake…until you’re…able to leave the room.”
“Oh, *orp*, right, sorry about that. I’ll, *hnng*, get out of your, *oof*, hair…when I can actually move again. This stomach’s more than I can handle right now. But I’m sure…after a nap…it’ll get…easier.”
His eyelids grew heavy, and the monumental weight of his feast began to affect him. Letting out a yawn, Magnus rested his claws over his chest, and fell into a heavy sleep. His stomach expanded as he drew breath; the sound of digesting sweets incessantly gurgled, adding a chorus to his snoring. Devlin slowly backed out of the room, flustered at how much of the room the red dragon filled out. Having grown to such an enormous degree off of one bakery’s worth of pastries, he could only imagine the lengths of which Magnus would grow after a day at Alvar’s, or devouring multiple flocks worth of sheep in Stone Hill. Looking back to the front of his shop, he grimaced at the broken and knocked over shelves. When next he opened, he will need a bigger shop, complete with sturdier shelves, and pastries to rival his magnum opus.
