Unexpected pg 5 Sketch
Moving on! It was interesting trying to mimic old drawing styles you see in medieval era books, I've never tried my hand at it...hopefully it comes through :P
Unexpected pg 5 WIP
Sorry this one took me awhile to get up, it's been a tough one to layout. I ended up having to trim a lot of dialogue and action but that's the great part about combining scripts and thumbnails. You can cut the fat and leave the meat :) This would have spread over two pages originally. I'll have a much better finalized sketch when I sleep on this one.
A Girl Named Sue pg 1 Color
All colored up! :D Working on a patron piece too, I'll have that up soon as well. Hope you guys like the new style!
A Girl Named Sue pg 1 Color WIP
I'm really settling into this new soft painterly style of coloring...I think it'll look good for the book. Hope to get this page fully colored today!
Unexpected pg 4 Sketch
HEY! :D I'm back! I've been chomping at the bit to get this page going. I've finally moved in to my new digs and got my setup working again so there shouldn't be another dry spell of content. I'd like some feedback with this page if you would. I want to make sure the page reads correctly. Let me know in the comments if anyone gets hung up reading through it!
Unexpected pg 3 Sketch
Poor Mer :(
Unexpected pg 2 Sketch
Sorry for the delay with this one! It's been a busy week/weekend. I'm currently in the process of moving so I haven't had much time to devote to it like I wanted. I should have the next page up later this week however. I have just a few more things to move and I should be settled in my new digs. Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day!
A Girl Named Sue pg 13 Color
I know it's kinda out of order but I've been really anxious to color this page. Plus it provides me with a pallette I'll prolly use throughout the chapter. :)
Unexpected pg 1 Sketch
And here...we...GO. ;D
Chapter 4 Splash WIP
Nearing completion with this one!
TSWWS Chapter 1 A Girl Named Sue PDF

Chapter 4 Release Poll
Hey yawl!I'm curious about how you guys would like me to release this upcoming chapter. Please let me know by selecting which way you like seeing the story unfold. I was somewhat worried with the way this last Chapter was done and I'd like to know your thoughts going forward. Thanks so much!
A Girl Named Sue pg 25 FINAL
That's all she wrote! :D I really wanna thank you guys for your patience with this redux. I really felt it was important to take on and I hope it helps bolster the rest of the story art and narrative wise. Down the road I'm considering going back to parts of Chapter 2 but that's on the back burner. Chapter 4 is next on the roster. :)
A Girl Named Sue pg 24 FINAL
BOOM! Done :) ONE LAST PAGE! :D
Page 24 Progress
Got two big panels out of the way tonight and outlined the rest so looking to get this completed later today! How you guys feel about the tears? To tear or no tear?
A Girl Named Sue pg 23 Final
I'm baaaaack! :D Sorry for the break but I'm back at the desk once again ready to bang out these last couple pages. Hope everyone had a great Easter or at least an awesome weekend!
Page Progress and Notice
Current page is coming along! I'm hoping to get It done by tomorrow as I'll be out of town for a week so updates will be scarce until I get back. I'll be taking my sketchbook and laptop with me so I'll be mostly working on refining the script and characters for the next chapter! Can't wait to start.
A Girl Named Sue pg 22 Final
All done! :D
A Girl Named Sue pg 22 WIP
Almost done with this one, still needs lettered but hoping to get that done later today. :D How's everyone's weekend been so far?
