Whiplash is one of those movies where the log-line cannot do justice to how superbly dramatic and exhilarating it is. I've watched people next to me crumbling in their chairs during sequences just due to the sheer bruality and intensity of the events.You wouldn't think that a film about drumming would put most action films to shame, but it does, as well as having iconic performances from Miles Teller and JK Simmons.It's one of the most focused and concise films you'll see.
