[366 Days of Monsters] Day 128/366 - Mask Haunt
Despite the name "haunt", mask haunts are not actually undead creatures. A mask haunt is a sentient, floating mask that possesses incredible intelligence, and often, vile cunning. A mask haunt can fool others into believing that it is a humanoid, creating an illusory body which looks, talks, and even pretends to take actions for the mask (thanks to a few well timed mage hand or minor illusion spells).Mask haunts are usually created to serve malicious archmages and other powerful beings. They often act as lieutenants in mage armies, dung...

[366 Days of Monsters] Day 127/366 - Greater Gargoyle
Like their smaller cousins, greater gargoyles are adept at posing as statues atop buildings or within dungeons where they wait to attack passersby. Although they are without any morals or sense of ethics, they are exceptionally patient, able to remain in their statue pose for years before they strike. In Omeria, the Great Chromatics of The Summer Land created gargoyles to act as sentries in their secret domains. Larger and more vicious than most of the Chromatics' servants, greater gargoyles were placed at the front lines during the War of t...

Lost Altar of Qortar | New 3rd-Level Adventure for Fifth Edition (Electrum+ Exclusive)
Two centuries ago, a religious group known as The Hand of Qortar fled their temples in The Summer Land and retreated to the Basilisk’s Spine Mountains. Actively pursued by Pressonian Abjurers, the persecuted Qortarians constructed a new temple devoted to their maligned demigod. Led by their high priest, Gozas the Six-Fingered, the Hand toiled for over century in their covert lair until a mysterious plague pushed them from their homes. Four generations later, no one remembers the lost altar’s true location. In the years since their exodus the...

[366 Days of Monsters] Day 124/366 - Cloud Jelly
Cloud jellies resemble colossal, hovering jellyfish which roam the skies over The Desolation of Ditimaya. Their 50-foot-long tentacles dangle below their bulbous cores, brushing the surface of the wasteland as they drift. Once the tentacles hit a living creature, it restrains it, poisons it, then slowly draws nutrients from it. After it has drained the creature of its vitality, it leaves the creature's bloated, blackened corpse in the dunes to rot under the Eye of Naeyer. So loaded with poison, it victims are inedible to the carrion-eaters ...

In the beginning, the world Casar was created by the raw elemental energies of the Cosmos. In time, the dulons, the "cosmic siblings" of the elements, developed creatures to inhabit the new world. These beings were designed to solve the greatest problem the dulons faced: how to stop the decay and inevitable collapse of the Cosmos. At first, these creatures shared Casar with the elements. But in time, the dulons' creations started to take advantage of the planet. The elements, disappointed in the chaotic nature of these creatures, tu...
[366 Days of Monsters] Day 122/366 - Dullahan

I thought I’d share this
I’m a writer. Probably not a good one. Prolific? Check. Talented? Eh...But! I do enjoy sharing stories with folks. It’s kinda been my life goal. One of the first “toys” I ever wanted was a typewriter. I used to do private art classes so I could make props for my own production of Superman... when I was five years old. So talent or not I’m glad y’all like the stuff I create. I hope it’s helped you in one way or another. And hopefully I can keep providing cool stuff for you to live and die for (or at least read on the toilet).Thanks...

[366 Days of Monsters] Day 118/366 - Werecrocodile
A werecrocodile's ferocity is only matched by its malicious nature. Cold-blooded, both figuratively and literally, these beasts love to track, torment, and torture their prey. If there is an opportunity to damage a creature psychologically before they damage it physically, they will take it. Some of their favorite tricks include eating a victim's limbs before killing it, turning a victim's loved ones and forcing the new werecrocodile to eat the victim, or simply allowing prey to momentarily "escape" from their aquatic prison...
Desert of the Dead | New 4th-Level Adventure for Fifth Edition
The Wither, one of the The Great Wastelands of Central Omeria—and arguably the most dangerous of the three—is home to all manner of horrible creatures. Gnolls, ogres, dragons, and bandits are common sights throughout. [Quick Poll] Monday's Gothic Horror Adventure Level
Hey all!As you know, I'm writing up a Gothic Horror adventure for Monday's release. What level/tier should the adventure be? Let me know in this poll! It's a quick poll, so it ends in only 90 minutes!
My weird new hobby...
Okay, so this is a little random, but I thought I would share since it's Fifth Edition related. Just recently, I cleared off one of my shelves as the business is expanding. And now that shelf has a lot of empty space. Obviously, I need something to fill that space. But what?Well, I decided that I would collect every single weird item that's on page 160 of the PHB—the trinkets list. The first item? A mummified goblin hand.I couldn't exactly find a mummified goblin hand, but I did find this cool six-fingered hand that I thought... we...
Neverending Dungeon Tile 2 - One Word Prompts
Hey all!I know I called for this last time, but the info ended up vanishing into obscurity (Patreon's crappy UI, etc.) and there's now a bunch of new folks, too.Below, leave me a one-word prompt that will be worked into the next Neverending Dungeon tile. I'll be working on that this afternoon (swapping Hot8's position with it right now) so I'll be sure to use up the words quick.Looking forward to the weird words you come up with.

They reside within the Violet Qsar, home of the Khan, and serve as bodyguards, advisors, and generals to the Khan's armies. Before a member of the Stonearms can become one of the Granite Nine, he or she must completely surrender his or her humanity to Gasta-Harrak. The Stone Arm is then abso...
[Side Trek] Asylum of Korinnos - A 5th-Level Adventure for Fifth Edition
Thought I might try something a little different tonight while I'm working on some of these large projects and whip up a real quick one-pager using Watabou's One Page Dungeon generator.I challenged myself by allowing myself only half the page to write. It wasn't easy, but here it is! The room ideas came straight from Watabou, so I warn you: they're weird. But you're probably used to that by now.Includes: The adventure PDF. The map from above. A gridded version of the map. A non-gridded version of the map.
[366 Days of Monsters] Day 116 - Ghost

While mounted on a lumibike, the lumibike shares the benefits of the ghost's blur and invisibility spells.
