55 kg calibrator is shipped
I have no idea what makes it so heavy, but my hopes are high :) Might start a discord live stream thingy for testing at some point, so don't be alarmed, the real thing will be announced properly.Also welcome to the third (at least) Holger and all the other new patrons, I appreciate your support and company :)
I didn't go all the way to a 3D lidar scanner
Because a raspberry pi is already struggling with 2D visualization. So the whole topic is not exhausted yet, but I'll delay further investigation for a little while ... the vacuum robot is needed :)

Well that was surprisingly quick ... And now I have to do 4k everything?I've actually been uploading 4k 60fps for a while now, but that was just upscaled 1080p source footage. YouTube turns it into higher quality videos that way.To really work with 4k material is a bit slow on my old machine, I'll need a few weeks to get better hardware. Not gonna lie, I thought I'd just get that camera out of my 'free-products-to-include-in-some-video-shelf' by making a quick one, but I ended up enjoying this video very much, especially the second half. I hope you do too :)

that 3D printing time lapse :-\I have made this neat raspi camera thingy and I want to keep it portable for other special filming opportunities.
